About us
INTRO
We are a studio focused on the creation of textiles for interior architecture as well as fashion founded by Linda Kaplanová and Klára Spišková in 2016 following their graduation from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
OBJECTIVE
We are striving to promote a different view of the use and application of textiles that transcends solely decoration by amplifying its connection to fine art.
OUR OFFER
We offer designer textiles balancing on the edge of fine and applied art. We design and implement textiles for public and private interiors, where they either play the role of a unifying element in relation to the surrounding materials or, conversely, result in the dominant feature in the space as a whole. In addition to authorial work, we advise on the colors and combinations of complementary textile materials. Together with you, we will select suitable materials and carry out the order in a professional manner.
APPLICATION
We design and weave materials for various uses - depending on the desired technological, aesthetic and functional requirements. Our work includes hand-woven tapestries, textile paintings, and machine-woven fabrics created in various ways based on their final applications. For example, we create framed wall paintings, (sliding) panels and partitions supplemented by acoustic materials, upholstery fabrics, interior accessories, and yardage for fashion design.
VISION
We value cooperation with architects and designers, with whom we design textiles rooted in the original interior concept itself. We also accept commissioned work in cooperation with individual clients.
You will not find much of our work in Czech design stores. We prefer personal contact or selling through our e-shop.
